We have 47 days before we head to our next duty station. We are currently stationed at Rose Barracks, Vilseck Germany, we will be PCSing to Fort Leonard Wood, MO. It will be a exciting change, don't get me wrong I love Germany and living in Vilseck, but I'm ready for a change. Fort Wood is out in the country too and promises a bit more outdoor'sy stuff to do.
Now I am really feeling the crunch to travel and see the country. My husband and I are homebodies, although we love the thought of traveling, we just never actually get to the traveling part. We have an 11 month old baby boy, a cat, and a dog; so we just kind of stick close to home. This weekend we are going to Pottenstein to see the caves ( http://www.showcaves.com/english/de/showcaves/TeufelsFranken.html ) and then for dinner at "The Steak On the Stone" or Schuttersmuhle.
